Behind the Scenes: Epic Meal Time, KOTD & Down With Webster

As I was recently organizing footage on my hardrive, I found a folder of behind the scenes stuff that I had forgotten about. As I clicked through it, not only did it make me crack up, but I was just completely baffled by how absolutely fucking random this gathering of people was.

The day after King of the Dot’s “Blackout” event, a few of the crew members and myself got an invite to an Epic Meal Time party. Designated driver/Canada’s Got Talent Finalist/Professional Beatboxer Scott Jackson picked up KOTD’s Co-Founder Avi Rex and myself. On the way Avi called up Fresh Coast battle rap pioneers Lush One and Okwerdz who were still in town to come aboard for the ride. After grabbing a case of beer and a bottle of Jack, we pulled up behind the Sound Academy to meet the Epic Meal Time crew. To our surprise we were warmly welcomed onto the tour bus of the Platinum selling band Down with Webster and EMT was in the middle of shooting an episode with them. Long story short ,we got crazy till the sun came up.

Also note that a handful of the footage has bad lighting and is shot from not so great angles. Not only was that due to my own intoxication, but this was not intended for a serious documentary. I just clicked the record button a handful of times throughout the night and spent more time enjoying one of the most bizarre parties I have ever been to in my life.
