Preview: Bestival Toronto 2016

This weekend Beyond The Watch is going to be Increasing the Peace at Bestival’s second annual festival experience at Woodbine Park in Toronto’s Beach Village.

Woodbine Park in The Beaches is the new location for what will go down as one of the summer's best festivals. Why is that exactly? Well for one, the festival is now located on the Toronto’s mainland opposed to the island, which resulted in some ferry hiccups last year. Secondly, the musical lineup is hype. It doesn’t get much better than seeing acts like: Tame Impala, Jamie xx, Swim Deep, Thugli, Grimes, Daughter, The Cure, and so much more. Lastly! There’s way more than just music at Bestival and that’s what makes this festival a magical experience compared to all the other bleak and traditional festivals. There’s a loooooong list of extras that go beyond the music that you can check out on Bestival’s homepage but we’ll flag some of our most anticipated here like their Bollywood Stage, the Inflatable Church, Sound Healing Workshops, Harmonium Hypnotism, a Cosmic Café, a Knitting Tent and Flashmob Conga Lines.

Like seriously??? Doesn’t all that sound rad?

If you’re late to the game, you can still buy tickets for this weekend's two-day experience. You’ve got a lot of options from a 2-Day Pass (General Admission or VIP) or Single Day Admission (General Admission or VIP). You can get in by visiting the link to pick up your tickets: https://bestival.frontgatetickets.com

Directly below you can see Bestival’s Day Splits to get an idea of who is playing what day and when. Both Saturday and Sunday are bound to impress so our advice is to be there all weekend. But if you had to choose just one, we recommend not passing up the opportunity to see Tame Impala kill it in the beach!

See you guys at the festival, we’re stoked that it’s already here.
