Best New Music This Week: The Smile, Dead Poet Society, Masta Ace & Marco Polo, And More

Every Friday, we challenge ourselves to sift through new music releases and curate a list of albums we think you should be listening to.

Kicking things off is English post-rock band The Smile with their highly anticipated album, Wall of Eyes, featuring members Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood of Radiohead. Hailing from Boston, Massachusetts, alternative rock band Dead Poet Society brings us the emotionally charged Fission. In the hip-hop realm, the collaborative LP Richmond Hill by Masta Ace & Marco Polo blends Masta Ace's lyrical prowess with Marco Polo's production finesse. Buffalo, New York's own, Benny The Butcher, drops Everybody Can't Go, showcasing his raw lyricism. Rounding off the week is the punk spirit of Los Angeles-based Militarie Gun, with their collaborative Life Under The Sun EP.
