I always thought it was a trend amongst university students to declare Thursday the new Friday. Everything good happened on Thursdays. Pub nights, dance parties, fundraisers- you name it. Why? People rarely had class on Friday. I figured once I finished university and got out into the ‘real world,’ people would stop partying on Thursdays for fear of early morning zombification.
