CMW2013: Soilwork & Jeff Loomis @ The Opera House
On Wednesday February 20th, the iconic Swedish melodic death metal band; Soilwork were at The Opera House in Toronto to take part in Canadian Music Week 2013. The band has embarked on a hard-hitting North- American “The Living Infinite Tour”, alongside supporting acts Hatchet, Bonded By Blood, Blackguard and Jeff Loomis. The genre defying, London based Django Django brought their unique sounds and live show to The Opera House in Toronto on March 12, 2013. The band is currently on tour supporting their debut self-titled release (2012), as well as a remixed version of their debut album entitled Hi Djinx! Django Django (Remixed). The nights opener was Minneapolis psych rock band Night Moves whose sound mixes psych rock, indie and even some country twang. A perfect combination between Portugal. Gig Review: Every Time I Die @ The Opera House
On March 6, fans piled into the SOLD OUT Opera House in Toronto with high anticipations to witness an epic live show courtesy of Every Time I Die. The show was supported by No Bragging Rights, Hundredth, Vanna and The Acacia Strain. It was presented by Inertia Entertainment and Peter Says Denim, it marked the second date for the Canadian part of the tour.
