Kicking off Drakes OVO Fest was Snoop Dogg & Wiz Khalifa at Toronto's Molson Canadian Amphitheatre on Friday, July 29th, 2016.

The show was set to open with Jhene Aiko and Kevin Gates but, for whatever reason, Gates couldn't make it to the show and Aiko had to step it up to hype fans for Snoop & Wiz.

And that she did...

Her moody vibes and contagious smile sucked fans into her set. Fans couldn't stop talking about her Space Jam jersey either, so maybe that's what sealed the deal on how great her set was? It definitely was a highlight.

After Aiko's set it was time for fans to spark any and all joints they had since the cannabis kings Snoop Dogg & Wiz Khalfia were set to perform. The first appearance came from the original gangsta himself, Snoop Dogg. He slowly made his way to centre stage with a massive blunt in hand revealing himself through a cloud of smoke. He performed a few tracks with haste and then exited the stage for Wiz to come out. It was an interesting setup, especially for us photographers. We had a chance to shoot one act and then another separately, which was good in the end. I didn't want to have each of them competing on stage for the camera. Wiz Khalifa had an intense amount of energy as he ran from each side of the stage over and over again with mid-stage tokes in between. His songs also felt a bit rushed, but I think it was because of each act sharing the stage together and taking turns in the spotlight.

I had a blast shooting this show and it was the first time I've had the chance to photograph Snoop Dogg, the dude is a living legend, I was hyped. Check out all the photos from the set below and mad props to Corus for hooking me up to shoot this show.
