Glassjaw Announce 30th Anniversary Vinyl Box Set & Photobook (Pre-Order)

BrooklynVegan and Revolver have collaborated with Glassjaw to celebrate the band's 30th anniversary with a special release, The Playable Collection. This exclusive box set commemorates the milestone with new vinyl pressings of Glassjaw's three full-length albums – Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Silence (2000), Worship and Tribute (2002), and Material Control (2017) – alongside their EPs Our Colour Green and Coloring Book from 2011.

The Playable Collection offers two versions: one set with black vinyl and white jackets, and another with white vinyl and black jackets, each limited to 1,993 copies. Each LP has its own jacket and is housed in a durable numbered slipcase, preserving the essence of Glassjaw's discography.

Accompanying this collection is an exclusive 88-page, 12″x12″ book that delves into Glassjaw's history. Set predominantly in 1993, the year of the band's formation, the book features archival photos capturing iconic New York City scenes from the '90s, images of the band members, and current snapshots of Glassjaw artifacts. Moreover, it includes interviews with notable influencers, collaborators, and former members such as Walter Schreifels (Quicksand) and Don Fury, sharing insights into the band's journey and inspirations.

The book comes in two cover editions - black and white - limited to 993 copies each, with an additional gold hardcover edition, also limited to 993 copies. For enthusiasts, there's "The Deluxe Playable Collection," limited to 500, which pairs gold vinyl variants of each record with the gold hardcover book.

The pre-orders for the book and vinyl box sets are available separately, and the Deluxe Playable Collection can be purchased exclusively through the BrooklynVegan store. The limited availability adds a sense of urgency for fans to secure these collectibles, making this anniversary celebration a must-have for avid Glassjaw followers.
