Chicago’s Friko, comprising vocalist/guitarist Niko Kapetan and drummer Bailey Minzenberger, unveils their latest single and video, "Where We’ve Been," serving as a powerful preview to their debut album, Where we’ve been, Where we go from here, set for release on February 16th via ATO Records.
The frenzied and majestic track opens the album, setting the tone for the pure abandon embraced by Friko. The accompanying video shot at Treehouse Records Studio in Chicago, captures the intense energy of Friko's cathartic live performances. The band is set to showcase their dynamic sound at The Current's Winter Dig Out in Minneapolis on February 24th and the Metro in Chicago for their record release show on March 1st, followed by an appearance at SXSW.
