Sierra Ferrell Announces New Album And Shares Single "Dollar Bill Bar"

Sierra Ferrell has unveiled her forthcoming album, Trail of Flowers, set to release on March 22 via Rounder Records. The album follows her 2021 debut, Long Time Coming, which catapulted her to viral stardom. Trail of Flowers showcases Ferrell's distinctive voice, eclectic sound, and imaginative storytelling. The announcement comes with the release of the single "Dollar Bill Bar," featuring backing vocals from Nikki Lane and Kristen Rogers. The song weaves a poignant narrative of longing and regret, providing a glimpse into Ferrell's nomadic upbringing. 

The 12-track album explores themes of struggle in a capitalist culture, featuring contributions from notable musicians like Lukas Nelson and Chris Scruggs. Ferrell, known for her blend of old-time music with modern concerns, expresses her desire to create nostalgic yet forward-looking music.
