Ducks Ltd. Unveils 'Harm's Way' at Toronto's Sonic Boom Records

In the heart of Toronto at Sonic Boom Records, Ducks Ltd. performed an intimate concert for the release of their latest album, Harm's Way, via Royal Mountain Records. The duo, comprised of Australian lead guitarist Evan Lewis and U.K.-born, U.S.-raised singer, bassist, and rhythm guitarist Tom McGreevy, mesmerized the crowd with their signature blend of buoyant jangle pop and power pop. As fans mingled and enjoyed various creative craft beverages courtesy of Collective Arts, Ducks Ltd. took the audience on a sonic journey through the anxious yet poignant narratives woven into Harm's Way.

The album marks a significant evolution for the band, transitioning from self-produced recordings in a Toronto basement to collaborating with producer Dave Vettraino and talented musicians in Chicago. As McGreevy aptly describes, the album delves into themes of struggle and solidarity, echoing the sentiment of navigating the complexities of a world teetering on the brink. Ducks Ltd. continues to push boundaries, delivering an unforgettable performance that resonates long after the last chord fades.

We had the privilege of being at the event thanks to Collective Arts capturing behind-the-scenes photos of CA's Artist Liasion Alyssa LeClair interviewing the duo and, of course, the live performance. Collective Arts also released a brand new lineup of energy drinks the same day called Wide Eyed Energy, and we had the chance to sample these tasty new drinks. If you have yet to hear about Wide Eyed, check it out HERE.

Check out all the photos from the night below and pick up a copy of Ducks Ltd.'s fantastic new album, Harms Way, at Toronto's Sonic Boom Records or your local record shop ASAP.
