Montreal-based duo Diamond Day has unveiled their debut album, Connect the Dots. Led by the captivating vocals of Béatrix Méthé and the masterful production of Grammy-nominated multi-instrumentalist Quinn Bachand, Diamond Day offers a mesmerizing blend of shoegaze and electro-pop. With influences ranging from Julee Cruise to My Bloody Valentine, the duo crafts a hypnotic and dreamy sonic landscape that is both nostalgic and forward-thinking. Connect the Dots features ten tracks that showcase the duo's razor-sharp focus on catchy hooks, stream-of-consciousness lyrics, and billowing noise-pop soundscapes. Produced in collaboration with industry heavyweights Jorge Elbrecht and Sebastian Kinsler, this album promises to stand out in the indie music scene.
