Trivium Announce Struck Dead EP, Drop New Single "Bury Me With My Screams"
Trivium Unleash New Single "Bury Me With My Screams" Ahead of Struck Dead EP, Out This October
Grammy-nominated metal titans Trivium have officially announced their upcoming EP, Struck Dead, set for release on October 31 via Roadrunner Records. Alongside the news, the band dropped a furious new single, “Bury Me With My Screams”, complete with a gripping music video that premiered on frontman Matt Heafy’s Chaos Hour show on Sirius XM Liquid Metal.
The three-song EP was recorded at The Hangar, the band’s newly built studio in Orlando, Florida, and produced alongside longtime collaborator Mark Lewis, with mixing and mastering by Josh Wilbur. Despite its short length, Struck Dead is packed with intensity, driven by Trivium’s signature dual-vocal delivery and intricate riff work.
According to bassist Paolo Gregoletto, what began as a single song quickly turned into a full-blown EP.
"The energy of revisiting Ascendancy started bleeding into these new songs," he explains. "Matt poured a lot of his personal struggles from the past year into the music, and we used the writing process as a cathartic release."
The EP’s release date coincides with the launch of Trivium’s Fall 2025 headline tour, kicking off in Myrtle Beach on October 31 and wrapping up with an epic hometown show in Orlando on December 14. The tour features support from Jinjer and Heriot, making it one of the most anticipated metal tours of the year.
