Geese Are Coming Back to Toronto, and This Time We’re Ready

This November, Brooklyn’s Geese are one of Beyond The Watch’s most anticipated shows of the year. Last October, we unfortunately missed out on their show at The Opera House. A little over a year later, the band is back on their Getting Killed Again tour for two sold-out nights at History on Queen Street East, November 3 and 4.

Fresh off the release of their fourth album, Getting Killed, Geese have spent the past year turning their restless songwriting and increasingly untamed live show into one of indie rock’s most essential tickets. The Getting Killed Again tour is their second major run behind the record, and Toronto gets the rare luxury of two chances to see it.

We’ve had the pleasure of seeing Geese at the now-defunct Velvet Underground, touring behind 3D Country in small clubs. We also caught their short but unforgettable set opening for King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard at Budweiser Stage. Since then, the band has really hit their stride, and a venue like History feels like the perfect setting for Geese to stretch out, let the chaos breathe, and remind everyone why they’ve become such a compelling live act.

And while it’s a Geese show, don’t sleep on the opener. Welsh guitarist Gwenifer Raymond brings her own singular take on fingerpicked blues, Appalachian folk and American Primitive guitar, a style she has playfully dubbed “Welsh Primitive.” Her latest album, Last Night I Heard the Dog Star Bark, arrived in 2025, and 2026 has already included festival sets, an NPR Tiny Desk performance, and support slots with Mitski and Geese.

Both nights are sold out, but if you’re lucky, some resale tickets may still pop up HERE. And if you need convincing, dive into their live performances, such as their From the Basement set here and their KEXP session here.

Two nights, one of the year’s best live bands, get ready Toronto.
