Kings of Leon are looking back on everything that brought them here with “My Whole World,” the first single from their forthcoming tenth studio album, O My Beloved. Due November 6, the record marks the Followill quartet’s first self-produced album and finds the band returning to a more intimate, unguarded sound.

Guided by acoustic guitar and an easy, country-tinged groove, “My Whole World” begins with a touch of melancholy before opening into a warm, grateful ode to family, home, and the people who have shaped the band’s lives.

The song’s Sunday-morning glow reflects the broader themes of O My Beloved, which draws on family stories, childhood memories, and the perspective that comes with building a life and career together. Rather than chasing a grand reinvention, Kings of Leon embrace a stripped-back approach that lets the warmth of the songwriting take centre stage.

“My Whole World” follows the band’s 2024 album Can We Please Have Fun, along with recent shows, collaborations with Zach Bryan, and the surprise-released #2 EP. On their new single, however, Kings of Leon trade arena-sized swagger for something more personal: a relaxed, heartfelt reminder to appreciate what matters most.
