Photos: Father John Misty at Royal Alexandra Theatre

Father John Misty kicked off his Pure Comedy World Tour on Friday night at Toronto's Royal Alexandra Theatre. I had the chance to make it out to the show and photograph his set for Edge 102.1 (thank you!). 

I've had the pleasure of seeing Josh Tillman perform under his moniker Father John Misty a handful of times now and every time it's a special and intimate experience. It was no different at the Royal Alexandra, his set was impeccable and even featured a Q&A session with the audience that only TIllman himself could get away with at a concert. I'm stoked that I was given the opportunity to photograph this tour, not because Pure Comedy is his biggest release to date, but because it's definitely going down as one of the year's best releases. It's too good, I love it.
