Canadian rock legends Headstones have announced their eleventh studio album, BURN ALL THE SHIPS, due out September 19 via Dine Alone Records. Alongside the news comes the release of “Daylight Lightning,” a gritty single that captures the band’s trademark raw energy and emotional intensity. Frontman Hugh Dillon calls the track “unapologetic” and “subversive,” a sentiment that encapsulates the enduring spirit of a band still pushing boundaries nearly four decades in.
The album follows the massive success of “Navigate” (featuring Dallas Green), which climbed rapidly into the Top 5 on Active Rock radio. Burn All The Ships will also include a feature from Metric’s Emily Haines and promises a blend of snarling punk attitude and unexpected emotional depth. Pre-orders for limited edition vinyl and CDs are live now HERE, ahead of what’s shaping up to be one of the most anticipated Canadian rock releases of the year.
