Listen to “Precinct 3” by Power Trip
Power Trip have returned with “Precinct 3,” their first new song in nearly a decade and the lead offering from a new double single with “Scavenger.” Out now via Blue Grape Music, the track is a blistering thrash attack built on 205 BPM riffs, jarring start-stops, and a signature half-speed beatdown, while taking aim at the dangers of unchecked authority.
It marks the Dallas band’s first new recordings since the passing of frontman Riley Gale in 2020, with Seth Gilmore on vocals and production from Jacob Hansen. “Precinct 3” arrives alongside an Eric Richter-directed video and sets the stage for Power Trip’s new full-length album, due in Spring 2027.
