At The Gates announce new album “The Ghost of a Future Dead”

Swedish melodic death metal pioneers At The Gates have announced their new album The Ghost of a Future Dead, arriving April 24, 2026 via Century Media Records, completed before the passing of vocalist Tomas Lindberg in 2025 and crafted to faithfully preserve his final artistic vision.

The band describe the record as Lindberg’s legacy, maintaining the album title, track order, artwork, and sound exactly as he intended while channeling the ferocious energy and powerful melodies that define At The Gates. Its opening track “The Fever Mask” leads the campaign as the first single, accompanied by a tribute video assembled by longtime collaborator Patric Ullaeus.
