CEREMONY return with “Dark Summer,” the latest single from their upcoming album Tell Me Your Dream, out August 7 via Relapse.

The track leans into a darker, more brooding post-punk sound, trading immediacy for something more uneasy and atmospheric. Built around a sense of tension that never fully settles, “Dark Summer” captures that strange feeling of disorientation when everything should feel bright but doesn’t.

That idea sits at the core of the song. As Ross Farrar describes it, the track reflects a kind of emotional feedback loop where dread cuts through otherwise normal moments, leaving behind something that feels both heavy and strangely calm.

It’s another strong preview of Tell Me Your Dream, which sees the band reuniting with producer John Reis and continuing to blur the lines between their hardcore roots and more expansive post-punk direction.

CEREMONY will also hit the road this fall, with dates across North America including stops in Toronto and Montréal in September. Listen to the new song and check out their upcoming tour dates below:
