Cat Clyde and Dean Johnson Announce 2026 Co-Headline Tour Across Western Canada and the U.S.
Métis Canadian alt-folk artist Cat Clyde and Seattle singer-songwriter Dean Johnson have announced a co-headline tour across Western Canada and the United States, beginning October 28 in Victoria, British Columbia. The tour will visit 25 cities, including Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Denver, Austin, Portland and Seattle.
The upcoming shows will celebrate both artists’ acclaimed recent albums: Clyde’s Mud Blood Bone, released via Concord Records, and Johnson’s I Hope We Can Still Be Friends, released through Saddle Creek. Both artists were also named to the National Independent Venue Association’s 2026 Live List of rising, must-see acts.
Released in March, Mud Blood Bone finds Clyde blending folk, Americana, rock and country with deeply personal songwriting. Produced by Drew Vandenberg (known for his work with Faye Webster and S.G. Goodman), the 11-song album also features an appearance from Canadian artist Boy Golden.
Clyde has spent much of the year touring across North America and Europe, with festival appearances at Treefort, Roskilde, Winnipeg Folk Festival, Nelsonville Music Festival and Canmore Folk Festival. The co-headline tour with Dean Johnson will open on Canada’s West Coast before moving through Alberta and the western and southern United States.
Artist presale tickets are available through Thursday, August 6, at 10 p.m. local time, with general onsale beginning Friday, August 7, at 10 a.m. local time.
