Protest the Hero Announce 2026 Canadian Tour in Support of Within

Canadian progressive metal pioneers Protest the Hero have announced a new Canadian headline tour in support of their latest album, Within. The tour will mark the band’s return to stages across the country following the release of their first full-length album in six years.

Released July 17, Within has earned praise from our entire team plus some other notable international publications such as Guitar World, Metal Injection, Decibel and Rolling Stone. The album includes the single “Mouthpiece,” which has received airplay on SiriusXM’s Liquid Metal and CBC Music, along with placements on major streaming playlists.

“After spending more than six years creating Within, we weren't sure what would come next once it was finally out in the world,” the band says. “This has lit a fire under us, and we couldn't think of a better way to kick off this record cycle than with a coast-to-coast tour across Canada.”

The tour includes stops at Toronto’s Opera House, Montreal’s Fairmount Theatre, Vancouver’s The Pearl and Calgary’s Arrowhead. Artist presales are underway, with general on sale beginning Thursday, August 13 at 10 a.m. local time.
